A lovely location near Poolewe in Wester Ross. There is a memorial here to all those who lost their lives on the Russian convoys of WW2. Loch Ewe was an assembly point for warships and supply ships. Looking at the beauty of the place now, its very hard to imagine how this must have seemed to the brave men and women facing those dangerous journeys.
